Big News in Smiletown

Smiletown Books and Heatherwood Elementary donated a holiday tree to the 2007 Holiday Festival of Trees on December 2, 2007, to benefit children who lost their homes and belongings in the Southern California wildfires. Click here to read more about the special project.

Mrs. Evans' 2nd grade class at Heatherwood Elementary created original poems, which were made into ornaments to adorn the tree at the 2007 Holiday Festival of Trees. Click here to read the poems.

Smiletown's second children’s picture book, Smiletown’s Upside Down, (released in April 2007) was # 21 on Boulder Book Store’s bestseller list in June 2007! Hooray!

The third book in the Smiletown series, Smiletown’s Cowhog!, is in progress and scheduled for release fall 2008.
